The use of thermal resistance Thermal resistance is a temperature detector commonly used in low - and medium-temperature areas. It is not widely used in industrial measurement and is made into a standard reference thermometer. The following are four common fault phenomena and solutions:
1. Fault phenomenon: the indicating value of the display thermal resistance is lower than the actual value or the indicating value is unstable;
Possible causes: Metal shavings, dust, dirt between terminals and short circuit of thermal resistance in the protective pipe;
Treatment method: Remove metal chips, clean up dust, water droplets, etc., find the short circuit point to strengthen insulation.
2. Fault phenomenon: the table of thermal resistance indicates infinity;
Possible causes: Short circuit of thermal resistance or lead wire or loose wiring terminal, etc.
Treatment method: Replace the resistance body or weld and tighten the wiring screws.
3, failure phenomenon: display instrument indicating negative value;
Possible causes: The display instrument is connected to the thermal resistance incorrectly or the thermal resistance has a short circuit.
Treatment method: Correct the wiring, or find out the short circuit, strengthen the insulation.
4, fault phenomenon: thermoelectric resistance value and temperature relationship has changed;
Possible causes: corrosion and deterioration of thermal resistance wire materials;
Treatment method: Replace the thermal resistance.
