The mechanical part of the instrument is the same as the general spring tube pressure gauge. Since the resistance transmitter is set on the gear transmission mechanism, when the sector gear shaft in the gear transmission mechanism deflects, the rotor arm of the resistance transmitter (brush) is deflected accordingly. Because the brush is sliding on the resistor, the change of the measured pressure value is converted into the change of the resistance value, which is transmitted to the secondary instrument, indicating a corresponding reading value. At the same time, the primary gauge also indicates the corresponding pressure value.
