I. Overview of instrument:

Monochrome glass tube liquid level gauge is mainly used to directly indicate the height of the medium liquid level in various tanks, towers, slots, boxes and other containers. Instrument structure is simple, easy to use. Safety steel balls are installed in the upper and lower valves of the instrument. When the glass is damaged by accident, the steel balls are automatically sealed under the action of pressure in the container to prevent liquid spilt in the container.

Two, measurement principle:

The monochrome glass tube level gauge is equipped with M27×1.5 or ZG3/4" threaded joints on the upper and lower valves. It is connected with the container through the flange to form a communication device. The height of the liquid level in the container can be read directly through the glass plate.

The instrument is equipped with steel balls in the upper and lower valves. When the glass tube is damaged due to an accident, the steel balls block the passage under the action of pressure in the container, so that the container is automatically sealed and the liquid in the container can be prevented from continuing to flow out.

Three, structural characteristics:

The upper and lower valves of the glass tube are equipped with flange joints, which are connected with the container to form a communicator, and the liquid level in the container is directly indicated by the glass tube. The upper and lower valves are equipped with steel balls. When the glass breaks accidentally, the steel balls automatically seal and block the channel under the action of the pressure in the container to prevent the media in the container from continuing to drain. The supplier of the needle valve at the upper end of the instrument is equipped with a limited plug screw for deflating air, and the supplier of the needle valve at the lower end is also equipped with a limited plug screw for emptying, sampling, blowdown and cleaning. The lower end is equipped with a blowdown valve for sampling, maintenance, flushing or liquid discharge. At present, some small tubular level gauge also belongs to the glass tube level, the external material is made of stainless steel 304 (the lowest standard) production, you can use water, hydraulic oil, oil, etc. Adopt 316 stainless steel for more corrosive medium.

Four, advantages and disadvantages of the liquid level gauge:

Advantages:

Disadvantages:

1, the scope of application is narrow, fragile.

2, not strong, not safe, not withstand pressure.
